Director of Operations
Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Christine Nigro grew up crafting restaurants in her home where she sold daily specials such as turkey sandwiches and cereal to her family. Early on, Nigro realized she was meant to run a business with many different aspects, so restaurants seemed to be a natural fit. Her first experience in the hospitality industry was during high school working as a busser, runner and server at the Four Seasons Hotel.
She then went on to study at Cornell University’s School of Hotel & Restaurant Management, during which she assisted in opening the Borgata in Atlantic City. After graduation, she returned to Philadelphia and accepted a management role at Stephen Starr’s Morimoto. She soon rejoined Four Seasons Resort as department head at their Aviara property, where she managed a number of restaurant concepts. In 2010, Nigro relocated to New York City and eventually joined BR Guest, serving as general manager and director of operations for several of the hospitality group’s restaurants. Following a brief stint in Miami, Nigro had the opportunity to move back to New York City in 2015, where she met Mark Barak and accepted the position of general manager of La Pecora Bianca NoMad.
Now as director of operations for the brand, Nigro oversees both the NoMad and Midtown locations of La Pecora Bianca.
